Yom Kippur aka Day of Atonement

1 John 2:2, Leviticus 23:26-32

The Day of Atonement is such a special day in the Bible! It's a time when the Israelites would humble themselves by fasting, and the high priest would offer sacrifices to seek forgiveness for their sins. I feel incredibly grateful that the Most High sent His son, the Hebrew messiah, to shed His blood for us.

1 John 2:2 “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Because of this amazing sacrifice, our sins can be forgiven, and we can have eternal life! I truly believe that His Spirit lives within us, and I'm so thankful to The Father for His word, which gives us all the details about these special days.
