🇺🇸 A Few Real Thoughts
Some folks are still wondering what just happened? I’ve been stepping outside the bubble, connecting with non-believers who are good folks. It’s been eye-opening, and I’ve learned a lot in the process.
Here are a few of my real thoughts 💭
Millions of Americans were completely checked out of this election, and honestly, I can’t blame them. The stress of dealing with all the craziness can be a lot for some. Most people are just trying to handle their own lives and put food on the table. But this time, I decided to tune in after seeing the disastrous debate between Trump and Biden 🥊 and it definitely piqued my interest. I followed Kamala’s short 2-month campaign, seeing firsthand the tear-downs, hate, racial tropes, misogyny, and so much more from the other side.
If the numbers are indeed true, it’s tough for some to grasp that the majority of Americans voted for Trump. I believe white supremacy said, ‘We’ll help elect a documented rapist, a historically known racist, and a 34x convicted felon, rather than let a Black and Indian woman take our power.’ Her win would have been a death blow to a system built to benefit the wealthy, and it would’ve made a significant impact on the confidence of people of color. (Remember, not everyone has a relationship with Yah, to understand where their true value lies.)
With that being said, I’m so proud to have witnessed an imperfect Black woman and her team run such a powerful, inspiring campaign in such a short time. 💪🏽 It brought hope to so many and exposed the ugliness that still exists today, revealing how deeply some still feel about people of color.
Not surprising, just helps strengthen the desire to want to provide light and solutions in your own unique way.
To my fam and supporters, you know where my heart is. I fully trust that Yah is in control, knowing the end from the beginning. As a human, I feel for those who aren’t as closely aligned with the spiritual. Sometimes, I just need to call it like I see it down here.
And look, I may not agree with all of Kamala’s views, but I can appreciate how this campaign gave so many a brief sense of optimism and hope. I’m glad people were uplifted, even if just for a moment. But for those of us who live with an eternal hope, we know true peace doesn’t fade. It’s in the globes best interest that we (as people of faith) continue to use our gifts and share that message, the One who brings lasting peace.
In closing, the Kingdom of Heaven is within reach, even as we walk this earth. Serve others with love, and continually look within, preparing your heart for His return.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” - Yahshua✨
